Online Tutoring
The Coronavirus pandemic forced me to think of other ways to teach than through face-to-face lessons. I trialled various different set-ups, and have settled on a programme called Ziteboard.
As a student, this allows us to make a video call, and work collaboratively, in real-time on the same whiteboard. We can look at pictures of homework and resolve issues, we can upload games and activities for lessons, and we can write together (amongst other things). Whiteboards that have been shared with a student can be returned to at any time, which has proven helpful for students during revision.
Some students have enjoyed the switch to online learning so much, that they have opted to continue with online lessons rather than return to face-to-face lessons.
